LG recently began teasing in advance of Mobile World Congress and while we wait to see what they have planned for the show, it looks like they have also started teasing some current device owners with an update. Specifically, teasing those with an Optimus 4X HD, Optimus L9 and Optimus L7 with Jelly Bean. The details are still at a minimum, however if you happen to be carrying any of those three devices — an update is in the works.
It appears as if a new Optimus L series handset has leaked. The newly discovered device is the LG Optimus L7 II Dual and as the dual in the name would imply, this one has two SIM card slots. Or more specifically, the handset will have two SIM card slots with support for simultaneous use
Today, Boost Mobile and LG announced the Venice, which will soon be taking up residence on Boost’s shelves. To Android fanatics, the LG Venice will look instantly familiar, and that’s because it’s Boost’s version of the LG Optimus L7 , which launched at the beginning of summer. Not much has changed with the Optimus L7′s transition to the Venice, aside from the name of course.
LG and US Cellular have teamed up and will finally be bringing one of LG’s new L-series “stylish” phones to the US with what we’ve previously known as the Optimus L7 . The image below was quickly spotted on LG’s website and was immediately pulled, but not before the interwebs saved the image
We saw the entire new LG Optimus L-series at this year’s Mobile World Congress, and even had some hands-on time with each of the three . Rogers has confirmed that the Optimus L7 will be part of its ‘Smartphone Lite’ category.
