Beyond having an odd sounding name, Oggl is the latest creation by the long serving team at Hipstamatic. The app just went live in the App Store, but at the moment it requires an invitation code to use -- though you can apply for one in the app.

Back during the beginning of April Facebook finally released their “Home on Android” simply called Facebook Home . Now just a month later they’ve confirmed the application has already reached 1 million downloads, and as a result Facebook usage for those with Home installed has increased roughly 25%.
Facebook acquired Instagram back in April of 2012. While that acquisition started out with talks of $1 billion, it eventually dropped to $750 million. As of today however, it is looking like Facebook may be getting ready to make another $1 billion deal.
