The Rubik's cube is one of those timeless, classic toys that you don't expect one can mess around with much, but you may change your mind after seeing Magmic's treatment on BlackBerry 10. We talked with Phil Giroux from Magmic at BlackBerry Live 2013 about their upcoming adaptation which has the standard 3 x 3 x 3 puzzle mode we're all familiar with, but they've also tossed in a 4 x 4 x 4 and a 5 x 5 x 5 cube to mix things up

The New York Times app has been available since the BlackBerry 10 launch. It's free to download and there are free articles that you can browse and then you had to subscribe to get access to other content like videos and slides

Pixelator fans will want to check out the next game from creator Ebscer. Eric Harty was showing off Starbeams at BlackBerry Live 2013 , a simple yet challenging puzzle game where players have to assign colors to points in a shape so that no two of them connected by a line are the same. It's pretty hard once you get to the later levels

Faxing is still a thing! As it turns out, sometimes people still need to send a fax. Luckily, there's a mobile app out there for BlackBerry 10 called PamFax which lets you handle it without all of the fuss of a bulky machine. Users can pay a subscription fee for an inbound line, or get a bucket of credit for outbound faxes, which can be pulled in from on-device images and documents. We met up with Jim Courtney at BlackBerry Live 2013 , who had helped roll out PamFax to BlackBerry World, but he also has a history with VoIP going waaaaaay back.

Marco van Hylckama Vlieg has a long history with CrackBerry, reaching way back to the BlackBerry Super Fanboy contest we held in 2011 where he was a finalist and ended up being one of the winners. He's all around a great guy, and spent some time on the CrackBerry Live set with Kevin and Adam. One they got past the correct pronunciation of Marcos name, and discussed the trend that Marco unknowingly started by wearing his PlayBook on a chain around his neck, they moved on to talk a bit about his current apps
